You can close your Lorica account whenever you want. Start a chat and a member of our team will handle it with you.

When you close, Lorica stops starting new transfers. Any creditor payments already sent will finish going through. Lorica then prompts you to withdraw the settled balance in your clearing account back to your own bank by ACH — your money comes back to you.

If a creditor payment already went out and you're owed money back, you'd request that refund from the creditor directly, since those funds are with them.

Closing your account cancels your subscription. On an annual plan, you're refunded the unused portion, pro-rated. On monthly, your next charge stops and the current month isn't refunded. (See "Refunds.")

Some records are kept for a period after closing because banking and tax rules require it, then removed when that period ends. You can request deletion, and we'll delete what we can and archive the rest. (See "Your data and privacy.")

Once Lorica stops, keeping up your payments to creditors is back in your hands. Make sure you have a plan for your upcoming due dates so nothing slips.
