What Lorica collects
To run your payoff plan, Lorica works with your account and contact details, your linked-bank information through Plaid (balances and income — never your bank login), and your debts through Spinwheel (balances, rates, and payment status). It also keeps records of the transfers it makes on your behalf.
How your data is used
Your data is used to run your plan — detect income, move contributions, and pay your creditors — and to meet the legal and regulatory requirements that come with handling payments. Lorica does not sell your data.
How it's protected
Your information is encrypted and access is restricted. Your bank login is never seen or stored by Lorica — Plaid handles that connection directly with your bank. The identity documents used to verify you are held by our banking partner, not by Lorica.
Deleting your data
You can request deletion of your data anytime, through your account settings or by emailing us. Here's how it works:
We process verified deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by email when it's done.
Some records we're legally required to keep for a set period — payment and identity records tied to banking and tax rules, for example. Those are archived and anonymized rather than deleted, and we'll tell you which ones. When their retention period ends, they're removed.
We notify the partners who hold related data — such as Plaid, Spinwheel, and Stripe — of your request.
